SOROR MISCHELLE MOODY OPENS NEW BUSINESS

Now that she's recently received her Maryland Esthetics license, Soror Mischelle Moody (Beta Chapter) has set up shop in shared space to provide a number of personalized services in a spa setting. Soror Mischelle says that she specializes in a natural approach to skin care as she provides services to her clients. She does chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and laser resurfacing as well as classes on natural skin maintenance, basic makeup techniques, and private parties with 10 or more ladies interested in basic facials.

Her new license allows her not only to market herself as a professional, but also to buy and use professional products and run her own spa.

Soror Mischelle says that she is currently researching purchasing her own storefront spa. Once she establishes her own business, she says that she plans to create an environment similar to Elizabeth Arden, with more privacy in order to make Muslim women feel more comfortable with coming to the spa for pampering.
