President and Executive Director Dr. Althia F. Ali has appointed Sorors Kesha Abdul-Mateen and Sherice Muhammad (both of Beta Chapter) to develop a plan for a Gamma Cotillion to be held in the spring of 2010. A cotillion is designed to instruct young women on etiquette and social behavior as they prepare to be presented to and interact with the larger community in an appropriate manner. The GGChi Cotillion will invite Muslim young women to participate in the program with the understanding that all activities will take into consideration behaviors that are consistent with Islamic beliefs and practices.
