Soror Yasmin Marquis manages Silent Auction
for GammaFest 2008

This year's GammaFest will include a Silent Auction as part of the weekend-long activities to take place in Atlanta from October 10-12. Beta Chapter Soror Yasmin Marquis has agreed to serve as the chair for this event.

As the chair for the Silent Auction, Soror Yasmin is responsible for helping to gather items from sorors and others who wish to make donations. In turn, these items will be auctioned off, with the proceeds going to support national membership development.

The Silent Auction is slated to be a part of Friday night's event, the Emerald Evening (an elegant, halal social event). The Auction will feature high-end products such as electronics, items in the sorority's colors, Islamic reading materials and other Islamic items, decorative items, and specialty products.

The Emerald Evening will also feature four spoken word artists, an upscale bazaar, and a full buffet.

This event is open to the public. Admission is $40 in advance and $45 at the door. Tickets for the Emerald Evening will become available on August 15.
