for prospective member

Alpha Gamma Gathering

The Gamma Gathering is a traditional activity that follows the Gold Presentation (informational meeting). The Gathering is a way for prospective members and current members to get to know each other better in a social setting during the application process.

For this Gamma Gathering, Sorors Wakilat and Rasheeda chose to host a skating party and dinner.

Soror Wakilat left Atlanta in May to study at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Before she left, however, Soror Rasheeda Salaam hosted a farewell skating party for Wakilat. Soror Wakilat says this was the first time that she had been on skates. She said that she enjoyed the experience and appreciated the effort that Soror Rasheeda put into giving her a memorable send off.
