Group Gathers to Pursue Membership in GGChi

President and Executive Director Dr. Althia F. Ali hosted a Gold Presentation on June 14 for four prospective members who reside in the Indianapolis metro area.

In reflecting on the event, Dr. Ali said, "We have a small, tight group of women who have demonstrated over several months that they are dedicated to Gamma. Throughout our development, we have always emphasized quality over quantity, and we plan to move forward in establishing this chapter, despite the fact that we are starting smaller than usual. Our hope and expectation are that these four sisters will help to establish a presence in the greater Indianapolis area that will make it possible to expand when the time is right. Allahu Alim (Allah knows best). "

The Gold Presentation is a traditional, formal meeting designed to provide information about the sorority, to answer any questions that prospective members may have, and to give everyone an opportunity to socialize with a reception following the informational meeting.

Attendance at the Gold Presentation is a requirement for consideration for membership. It does not commit either the prospective member or the sorority for further consideration.
