				Some members of GGChi's Beta Chapter gathered at one of their favorite places, Color Me Mine in Silver Spring, Maryland, to celebrate the chapter's second anniversary. They used the occasion to raise funds for the chapter and to introduce the sorority to people in the community. Soror Kesha Abdul-Mateen, the chapter's Public Relations Chair, said, "Masha'allah. . .we had lots of support. It was a busy day at Color Me Mine. We thank Allah(swt) for the warm and beautiful day. Lots of talent showed up that day, too. Deidre, the owner/operator, has always been a Gamma supporter." According to Soror Kesha, Beta chapter will be returning to Color Me Mine in Silver Spring during October for their Second Annual "Eid Explosion," celebrating Eid Al-Fitr. "Our events are family friendly, and we encourage family, friends, neighbors and supports to come out and 'beee creative' with us."
