Sorors Are Out and About at Temple University
and at Sister's Conference

Members of Epsilon Chapter visited Temple University at the request of the Temple Muslim Student's Association (MSA). The Epsilon sorors participated in the MSA's probram entitled "Progressive women in Islam," held during Women's History Month.

Soror Ameenah Muhammad said of the visit: "The presentation on Gamma went very well. The Epsilon sorors and some MSA members tossed the idea around (of having a chapter of GGChi at Temple) and became very excited about the prospect of a Temple collegiate
chapter. As you know this is my Alma mater so I am super hyped ..... well anything with Gamma makes me super hyped. . .but add Temple to the mix and I might explode."

Beta Chapter members attended the 25th Annual Sister's Conference in Ellicott City, MD over the Easter weekend. According to Soror Kesha Abdul-Mateen, in attendance were "700 sisters. . .from as far as California. . .and the US Virgin Islands." In addition there were sisters from Maryland and DC, Virginia, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Florida, and Georgia.
