When the mother-daughter team of Dr. Althia F. Ali and Imani Canty first started to build our sorority in April 2005, they started with the belief that others understood their goals and vision and that the sorority was one whose idea had come.

In a very short time, many people have come to embrace the concept of an Islamic-based sorority, and they have helped to build the sorority through local chapters that have gained prominence in their local communities and captured recognition worldwide.

We now have chapters in major US metropolitan areas, and we have plans to expand our chapters and serve our communities, Insha'Allah.
